I like this quote the most as it shows how important communication is in any relationship
We can get that communication is an extremely valuable and required skill to have.

My initial feeling is that yes, communication can change the world. Many famous speeches, like the one given by Julius Ceasar, were able to motivate entire armies to take over countries.

Robert Wolfe's role is to teach people about communication in THNK's core faculty. It will 'enhance understanding' according to Robert Wolfe. Understanding, Empathy and Change.

We are learning about communication because as he says, 'Communication will be able to change the world' Written, Verbal and Non-verbal.

Robert Wolfe says that to be a better changemaker, you need to clearly express what you need and help others to express it as well. You need to listen to other people's needs.
He also says that to get better at communication, you need to study what other people have done and read, listen to, and watch different sources of communication.

For question 1, Robert Wolfe says that lots of problems come because of bad communication, and sometimes we defend ourselves from this by turning defensive or running away.

I would rate the 1st email a 9/10 and the second a 2/10 because in this situation you would need to be very formal instead of using slang as much

I think the most important is to connect with your audience as without a connection with your audience, your speech will never be inspiring or amusing to your audience

I think I would rate the first one 3/10, becuase even though it is worse, it is very straight to the point. I would rate the second one 8/10 becuase it uses the pronouns 'we' to make the audience feel more connected to the speech, which is the most important thing to write a strong speech

We can improve the second one by adding slightly more persuasive devices, as the speech looks like it might be to persuade someone.

My Speech-

Hello fellow students, I would like you to think about what age you got your first cellphone/smartphone/? 12? 13? I would also like you to think about whether this was a good decision or not. There are many reasons as to why parents don't (or do) get their children a phone, and we will be looking at some today. Just like choosing your education, deciding what age to get a phone can be vital, and there are certain factors that can affect these.

The first reason children get a phone at a later age is social media. Social media (as BBC has analyzed) is starting to affect young adults' minds depressing them, discouraging them, and demotivating them. Researchers call this phenomenon 'Social Media Envy', and it's affecting 33% of people in the USA. The reason for this is that people see their friends doing fun, exciting, and cool things and feel jealousy or envy towards them. Social media platforms that are famous in America include Instagram, Snapchat, and Reddit, which affect people the most because -chances are- their friends would be on the platform as well. Social media platforms may also show inappropriate content, which is another reason parents are skeptical about letting their children use it.

A reason against this could be how having a device of this power could help you in some situations. An example of this is when you're in a dangerous, unknown, or frightening place, but having a phone could save your life! You can call, text and message people who can help you, or your parents. This makes it extremely beneficial to have a smartphone, maybe even lifesaving!

In conclusion, I think the perfect age to get a phone is 12 years old, as this age would be responsible enough to manage themselves on social media, and would have enough self-control to manage their screen time, and would also find use in the security benefits of having a smartphone. I would like you to -once again- think about the age at which you got a smartphone and whether the age was appropriate for you, and now you know the pros and cons as well.

The most important news to me is the news of over 100 young children in Kota, a part of India heavily fixated on studying for exams, have taken their own lives out of failiure and embarrasment. This affects me personally as I am from India myself and as over the last year I have also been suffering with some mental health issues and I fear the same doesn't happen to me.

Communication-

Joy and sadness both try to comfort Bingbong after his big trip gets cancelled
Joy is energetic and sympathetic, offering other options while Sadness embraces the sadness and isn’t much of a help
I think Joy connected more with Bingbong during this scene as she comforted him and told him it will all be fine
We can learn that im nost cases, it’s more helpful to comfort someone than to call out their sadness.

My experience in the rain

I saw lots of articles about how people were struggling in the rain because of flooding and because of traffic, so I felt sad for the people stuck as my mom was stuck in traffic from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm when her hospital was just 10 minutes away from our house!
