Section uno (1): Performance Description

Our group performed the old story of "Sun Moon Lake". I played the solo puppeteer in which the puppet played one of the main characters: DaJianGe. The characters of the story bring back the sun and moon from evil dragons, due to the grief the loss of light brought them.

Section dos (2): Actor's choices and puppetry skills

As we planned we decided to filter out very little of the main story. We broke down the story so characters were allocated lines to say and the narrator jumped in every once and a while to clear up any possible confusion. I feel that my puppeteering skills as a solo puppeteer increased drastically after the performance.

Section tres (3): Collaboration and Feedback

Our team worked together quite well, however, I believe the roles were changed too drastically. In one lesson I was a narrator, in the other, I was the main human character, and then I switched to puppeteer later. I feel this led our group to be sort of under-planned as I had already prepared to be a narrator. I feel that the feedback I received about puppeteering alone was accurate and beneficial.

Section cuatro (4): My thoughts

I think that our group communicated in our performance alright. However, I believe we lacked in the weight and breath of the puppet, as I was the only person controlling it in a group of 4 people. Though narration and focus ended up well.
