         <description><![CDATA[<div>First of all, I would have to convince them( or even better, the school head master )to take the TET-SAT test, then analyse their results. Identifying the learning needs in matter of using ICT in teaching process would be the next step, as well as the number of teachers who need it. There could be different ways to increase their digital competences, through training courses organised by specialists or even in school, or with the help of  the advanced colleagues. A new test should be mandatory , after a determined period of time, to see if the obtained results  match with the expectations.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>As a librarian, one of the tasks I often do is to give or organize teacher training. In my specific context I could articulate the application of the TET-SAT and the definition of a course, with evaluation at the end of this course, with the implementation of another pilot project that I am coordinating in my school, which is the application of a reference learning skills to do with the library (Learn from the School Library). The benchmark is to enhance student learning, but as it involves the use of digital resources and equipment, teachers could take the test at the beginning and then at the end of the work developed with the students.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The answer is simple, implementation is something else ...<br>Very simply, the TET in my school could be used to replace many absurd, pre-established questionnaires, downloaded from the internet and submitted to the college to find out what kind of training-knowledge they have acquired in the past teachers and which they would like to develop, within a pre-established list (defined is not well known by whom and for what interests).<br><br>As already said in the post of the previous activity, one would have a clear picture of the skills and needs of the teaching staff, knowing even if within the same there are skills to be made available to colleagues. Very often in the colleges there are resources that are not adequately used.<br><br>A critical analysis of the results of the tests would also allow to decide which are the most critical points, which shortcomings to fill and to which to give precedence, whether to form the college in its entirety or to create groups, according to interests or availability.<br><br>TETs within a school would open many avenues for the personal development of teachers, the generalization of innovative teaching practices supported by technology.<br><br>The TET would be a good starting point and development, certainly not of arrival.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>It's not so easy for me to give an answer. I think we could use TET-SAT a first time on our own, or in the same room, in computer lab. Then we could make a portfolio, or, to involve all teachers, even those who ar not able to use the ICT or are not interested in, we could share our results all together and reflect on which areas are the most important to develop and we could decide a list of goals for the year. Then everyone of us could learn on his own, and try to implement the change in his classes. We could make an e-portfolio to share our ideas and to control our improvements. Then, at the end of the year, we could share our results, tell our work with our classes, and verify the aims. Then we could make the test again and reflect on the results.</div>]]></description>

I really think that the passage from the individual to the collaborative dimension is necessary of we want that self-assessment becomes an integrant part of our profession, even because it is very hard to work with individual strategies in a class. A further chance of collaboration and diffusion of this good practice could be an eTwinning project sharing the use of the TET-SAT tool and constructing a repository of reference activities/initiatives/ pedagogical remedies for every section of TET-SAT.</div>]]></description>

In Italy we are called "Digital Animators" and our job is to work in our school community as facilitators of technology in our schools. We promote the use of technology and show everyone from admin personnel to teachers to students, how to use ICT in their every day lives.<br>Next year I could propose the beginning of a controlled group and an experimental group and see through the use of the TET-SAT and also ATS how the school year goes, analyzing the progress as months go by, with meetings and courses and support systems in place, so to make sure that we can come up with results which might actually give us more than just numbers.</div>]]></description>
