The measles can affect anyone. Those who were not vaccinated when they were younger because of their parent's decision now must endure the consequences of their parent's decision. Many people began unvaccinated their children against the measles because they were convinced the vaccine caused unwanted side effects and could cause autism and other disorders. Up until now, there had been no studies conducted to determine that it did or didn't cause those disorders and therefore it has been very black and white. This study released has truly impacted the current event dramatically. They are now able to say without a doubt it does not cause autism and they now have the research to back it up.
