We are a small community pharmacy (1 pharmacist, 2 techs, 4 part time shop assistants) and my employer does not see the need for one as we have very low staff turn over. I am the newest staff member at the pharmacy (I have been employed there for just of 4 years now). However when I started issue 3 (working hours and break times) were discussed at the interview and also when contracts were being signed, I was let know that we have set lunchtimes but unfortunately our morning & afternoon tea times were very flexible depending on how busy the pharmacy was. Issue 4 (introductions) and 5 (tour of building) occurred as soon as I arrived on my first day. Issue 1 (Health & Safety)was never discussed, however I was given the Standard Operating Procedures to look over and in those is a copy of our Heath and Safety plan.
