Yes, I think because of the increase in numbers in cases of the Corona virus people might get scared and actually stop going out. I think people need to be more careful about what they are touching at stores, like carriges at grocery stores because hundreds of people touch those everyday and sometimes they don't have wipes to clean them off at the store, so I think people need to be more careful about that. I also think people will practice social distancing because they are paranoid about getting it, and since school is getting cancelled, and people are having to work from home they may actually start taking it seriously and stop going out. People could also be nervous that the president will make more limits on where you go so people might not want them to happen. I also think people should be more careful getting takeout from places and buying food from places because someone easily could have touched what they are eating like fruits and vegetables from the store, 50 people could have picked up an apple before you buy it so people have to make they wash what they are eating. But in conclusion, I think that if people start properly social distancing and are careful then I think we can slow the spread enough to make it stop, in the video it shows how social distancing in massachusetts and how 1 out of every 8 people were moving and how it descreased the chance of people getting it alot, so I think we will be able to stop it.

Personally I think that enough citizens will practice social distancing because people don’t want others to get sick. For example, almost two Saturdays ago I went into Dedham Square and almost no one was there besides me and my friend. It was desolate. Sure there were a few people, but when we went into CVS there was no one in there besides from the workers. There were no lines. In addition I’ve FaceTimed my friends to talk about social distancing and they haven’t gone out unless it’s important, like going to the grocery store. All over the internet i.e Instagram, SnapChat, Tik Tok and Youtube all people post about is to stay inside. Instagram has this new feature called “Stay Home” where it compiles all of the Instagram Stories into one place and they all have the message “Stay Home.” On Tik Tok if someone posts something about Covid-19 under the description it will have information about Covid-19. People are mostly staying inside unless they need to buy some groceries. If people need to get something now they won’t go out to the store they’ll buy it on Amazon. In addition people aren’t going to restaurants, they're getting DoorDash, Uber Eats, GrubHub and Postmates. Also I’ve seen on Tik Tok that people that work in restaurants the restaurants will only allow take out to limit human contact. Also many T.V shows that have live audiences don't have live audiences or like The Dr.Phil he films from his kitchen using his laptop webcam. People are not playing games in person; they play games on their phones with their friends or an online game. Friends won’t hangout in person; they'll either FaceTime, Google Duo, House Party or start a group chat with all of their friends. In addition clubs will Zoom each other to connect.

No, I do not think enough citizens will practice social distancing to help slow down the spread of coronavirus. I don't think this because many people are using this time to see their friends or going out to do unnecessary things. When they go out to see a friend, it is unlikely but your friend could have a germ from a family member or someone else that has coronavirus. That germ would be spread on to you. When the coronavirus germ is spread to you it could be passed to other family members who goes to work. When they go to work it could then be spread to another coworker. That is why I don't think enough people will practice social distancing to help slow down the spread of coronavirus.

I don't think enough citizens will practice social distancing to help slow down the spread of coronavirus. In my neighborhood, people are still hanging out and not keeping at least 6 feet apart. Right now, they're hanging out outside. I've heard in the news about people having "corona parties". No one understands how serious this disease it. They all think the media is overreacting which is not true at all. I do though think that social distancing is an affected way to stop the flow of the coronavirus. In the simulation, when it showed the number of cases that sparked when quarantine was used, people still got infected extremely quickly, and it was a lot of people. But, during the simulation when social distancing was used, the number of cases stayed very, very low, therefore less people could spread the virus. More people were healthy than if there was a quarantine. These simulations prove that social distancing is the key to stop the coronavirus. The problem is though, lots of people will not listen to the government. We need to use things like the National Guard to enforce people to stay away from eachother. Schools, parks, etc. need to close. Restaurants need to only serve take out. We need to take social distancing seriously. It is not a vacation.

Yes I think social dicatning will help stop the spread because if people aren't near each other then the virus wont spread through people. If people aren't closely interacting then the virtues will be isolated. It won't be able to spread through human interaction. So if people interact with co workers, peers, distant family and store workers then the values won't be able to spread in mass amounts like it has been. As people move around and go to work the viruses passed from person to person and it then continues to spread in large amounts. When you move around freely you are more likely to spread the virus to other people. Social distancing could also give hospitals a period of relief so they dont have so many patients at once using the supplies and tests.Flattening the curve helps decrease how quickly the coronavirus case forms. If enough citizens participate in not going out and distancing themselves from their friends and family members then it can slow the rapid spread of the coronavirus. Overall if everyone practices social dictaning then it can help stop the spread of the coronavirus.

I do think that people will practice social distancing to help slow down the spread of the coronavirus because it is just so contagious and many people can suffer from it. I think that people are going to realize what it can do to people and that is going to worry everyone so they will stay away from people and once people start to stay away from each other that is going to help everyone and help people stay healthier. I chose this answer because at first I just thought that people were overreacting about it and freaking out for no reason but then i noticed that it was killing people and getting people very sick so i started to social distance from everyone because i got worried that i could get the sickness since it is very contagious.

Yes, I do think people will practice social distancing to help slow the spread of the virus. People already doing it (At least in MA) to an extent. Schools are closed, gathering can't have more than ten people, and only essential workers still go to work. The video states that "Since early March, there has been dramatic increase in the number of people in the U.S with Coronavirus. And this increase has scientist worried." This is true, but I believe that because of all the media coverage, stories, and stats being shown that people just realized how serious this is. People have been no-stop told that social distancing is the best way to combat the virus. Of course there are outliners, but I think people are starting to understand how important it is to stay inside.

I don't think that enough people will practice social distancing to stop the spread quickly and efficiently. This is for several reasons. For example, health care workers. Doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers must go to work during the virus, they don't have a choice. These people are on the front line, and now the U.S. is in short supply of face masks and other protective gear, so it will be easy for those people to contract the virus. Also, some people are simply ignorant and don't care about others. These people don't seem to care whether they infect other people. From all the people that don't have a choice, and those that do, I just don't think we can stop the spread soon. Another issue that I'd thought I'd mention is DNR. A DNR order (do not resusicate) means that people that are dying of coronavirus, health care workers can not revive them, and just should let them die. It does seem like a cruel concept, but think about during a code blue. That means that all avaliable personnel rush to the patients room and try to revive them. To protect from COVID-19, they would need to double-glove and put on other protective gear. By then, the patient would be dead. The question to ask is: do we value one person's life over many others? Health care workers are debating that now. Unfortunatly, I do think that a DNR order may be a very good way to stop the spread, even though it allows people to die. All in all, the coronavirus is very, very contagious, and I just don't think that the protocols we have now will efficiently slow the spread.

I don't think many citizen will practice social distancing enough to slow the spread that quickly, because even though a good amount of people are practicing social distancing, A lot of people are selfish and don't care about the situation and brush it off as not important. It's impossible to get everyone to comply and do what they are told. Some people understand this situation enough to know that it is extremely dangerous and social distancing isn't just a suggestion. Many people have the mindset of not caring

I think enough citizens will practice social distancing to help slow down the virus because they probably don’t want to get it. People don’t want to get sick. If there is a solution to stop the virus, people will probably take the chance to get rid of it. If seen people wear gloves around grocery stores and bags around their mouth. You don’t want to go through what people with corona are going through. Some people think that it is not a big deal but it is. There has been a severe increase of cases throughout the U.S. and they are just going up. If people are really concerned about it, they will probably try social distancing and are not going to hang out with other people. There are some people that are still hanging around with their friends and partying, but that might not turn out well for them. People have to make a change for this virus to calm down or even go away. Right now I'm not allowed to go outside or anywhere. I would much rather go to school right now but I also don’t want this virus. I think that people will practice social distancing for the risk of their health.
