A whistleblower is someone that blows the whistle! No, not the tiny flute instrument. We're talking about someone that calls out, or reports, someone else's wrongdoing. A whistleblower is a person working within an organization who reports that organization's misconduct. The person can be a current or past employee. Also, note that the misconduct can be a past act, can be ongoing, or can be in the planning stages.
There are two types of whistleblowing. The first is internal whistleblowing. This means that the whistleblower reports misconduct to another person within the organization. The second type is external whistleblowing. This means that the whistleblower reports misconduct to a person outside the organization, such as law enforcement or the media.

Concerns when whistle blowing must be taken with caution because they can be breaching the disclosure act if you tell the data to other parties that don't concern the private data.

Another thing that the code of practice may ban is using the internet for inappropriate things, such as gambling and viewing pornographic images and/or videos, limited use of the internet is often permitted for personal use, though this can be hard to gauge as it is hard to distinguish from professional research. If an organisation has its own web server, there will usually be rules on what can be posted to it. There might be exceptions for clearly identified personal pages, such as blogs. The use of internet policy is there so that during working hour (not including lunch) that employees do not use the internet for leisure or anything that is not work related like, using social networking site (facebook, twitter, Myspace) or watching videos on YouTube and download movies that does not coincide with your work.

1. An organisation should own the internal information because it is information about their customers and what goes on in their organisation such as every record that has been recorded.
2. You could give them a punishment or give them a good pay so they will not leave with information.
3. Management should be responsible for the accuracy of internal information.
4. Information ownership should not fall to the IT department because they shouldn't have access to personal information.
