This is where she graduated high school and left for Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania.  After graduating from the 5-year Occupational Therapy program, she started her career as a traveling OT in both the US and Europe.  When she felt completed with her work in that setting, she settled down with her husband to raise a family in Wilmington, North Carolina.  Since then, she has walked into New Hanover Regional Hospital for the past 35 years with a smile on her face ready to help her patients.

She jumps at any chance to go back up to the state and catch a Tigers, Lions, Red Wings, or Pistons game. Taking long drives up and around the state parks up north are always taken when she visits. She loves to get around any new city or place by biking and taking her time capturing aesthetic photographs to frame in her home. She is a big advocate for seeing the world and plans on traveling frequently and often. Her grandkids also keep her on her toes from sporting events to birthday parties. All of this just means more opportunities to learn new recipes and cook for everyone which she greatly enjoys around the holidays.
