Main characters:
Beatrice (Tris): a 16 y/o girl living a society is divided into five factions: Abnegation (the selfless), Amity (the peaceful), Candor (the honest), Dauntless (the brave), and Erudite (the intellectual). She stats being a part of abnegation.

Tobias(Four): 18 y/o and a part of dauntless.

Obstacle: in the society everyone belongs to a faction, or alsmost everyone. when you turn 16 you tahe a test that tells you what faction you belong to and then you decide if you wannna stay with your parents in the faction or go to the one you got in the test. but sometimes there are someone who does not belong anywhere (divergents). 
both four and tris are divergents. that means that everyone wants to kill them.
