Retrieved April 3, 2017, from https://www2.ed.gov/about/offices/list/ocr/docs/tix_dis.html
Key Words: title 9 and sex discrimination, Supporting Genders
Summary: The title 9 is a law that was passed to make sure that all transgender individuals were never discriminated against. This law makes it to where they can participate in any activity, do anything with education, and receive federal help just the same as anyone else would; and this is truly significant. How can an individual ever truly be happy if he/she is constantly being treated differently?
Opinion: I think The Title 9 is extremely necessary in today's society. Many people are for complete individual equality, however, some have the absolute opposite outlook. This needs to be followed and pushed forward.
Source: This source is great because is from an official site and it's actually an article on a current law that deals with gender equality.
