It was weird, yes but no reason to accuse people of being aliens and start suspecting each other.
If the story was set in the past which I felt so because of the portable radios and everything then why was an alien in the story? That seems like something from the future.

Ok, one of my comments is I find it very weird how everybody literally are freaking out and shooting people over a comment some kid made cause he seen it in a comic book. Its ridiculous.
