The wall picture is from the city I live Campeche. Pronunciation: kahm-PEH-cheh.

 The name Campeche is of Mayan origin and has three possible meanings: It may be derived from the words can (snake) and pech (tick)—the place of snakes and ticks. Some speculate that Can Pech means "the place where the snake is worshiped," because snakes appear on many ancient Mayan old structures.
