This past week, the principal was out, and the assistant principal had a lot on her plate. However, she seemed to delegate tasks to me that were an administrative duty, such as collecting statements from students, having them fill out a behavioral contract, and contacting parents about the incident. It was frustrating that I spent multiple days on this task when I could have done counseling duties.

We had the exact same feelings this past week, although they were for different reasons. I struggled last semester getting my forms back as well. During a classroom guidance lesson, I just had every student take one home and fill it out. Surely someone will bring it back, which they did. You're doing a great job though!! As far as being stressed, I felt the same way this weekend. It's hard being a mom and balancing school and the kids. Hopefully you are feeling better, and you'll have a much better week.
