I am showing the steps of making a garment item. I want to make a blazer. Velvet is chosen to make the blazer. For those who like luxurious and formal, the velvet blazer is the best options. this fabric is extremely soft and suitable for luxurious parties, besides the velvet is also quite good. I will buy fabric and trims at Dong Xuan market because there are a lot of fabric and trims here and they are not too expensive, i can choose suitable fabric here. Before making the blazer, i need to prepare tools and materials. The tools are sewing machine, pencil, paper, iron,... The materials are fabric, thread, buttons,... Now I can start make my blazer. There are 10 steps to make a blazer. First, I need to sketch my design. Then I drape the design. Next, I choose pattern for my design. After that I cut my muslin blazer. Then I sew the first muslin sample, correct and fit it. Next, I correct my pattern. I sew muslin then I cut dress in real fabric. Then I sew my blazer. Finally, I complete the blazer. It take me from 2 to 3 days to complete the item. The step sew blazer takes me the most time to finish and this step is the most important because this step decides quality of my product.

You need to use the screwdriver to loosen the needle clamp screw by turning it counterclockwise. Remove the broken needle and replace it with a new one. Turn the needle clamp screw clockwise to tighten it. The second is winding the bobbin. First, thread the bobbin. Put your bobbin on the bobbin winder and lock it. Press the foot pedal to start filling up the bobbin. When your bobbin is full with thread, cut the thread and remove the bobbin from the winder. You need to hold the end of the thread that you inserted through the hole of the bobbin. Push the end of the thread through the hole in your bobbin. the finally is thread bunching. First, lift the presser foot lifter/lever on the back of the machine up to raise the presser foot. Second, you will need to raise needle to the highest position by turning the handwheel counterclockwise. Then, raise the take-up lever. Rethread the machine. Confirm you have the right tension on the upper thread. To keep the sewing machine in good condition you should clean and oil the machine regularly. If the machine stops working, we check the power switch and socket. When not in use, we should turn off the machine. This is some information about note when using the sewing machine.

We use them for show you're listening ang encourage speakers to say more. For example, A say "I have 1 billion" and B will say " 1 billion". Next W-H questions are questions starting Who, What, When, Why or How. We use tem for encourage more deeper details. For example, A say: " I have just got a good job." and B will ask: "What is this job?". Finally, Showing attention and interest are usage of verbal and non-verbal cues to demonstrate active listening. We use them for build connection and keep the speaker engaged. For example, A say: "I will give you a new phone at your birthday" and B will say: "Really? That's great!". Those are 4 small talk techniques, you can use them to show interest in what they are saying.

You can measure some parts of the body such as the neck, the shoulder, the arm, the chest, the waist,... To take measurements you need to use a soft tape measure and you should put on the right undergarments and a thin layer of clothing. Now you will start measure. First you measure around the neck. Second, with the shoulder you measure from the highest point of the left to the highest point of the right the shoulder. Next, with the bust, you wrap a tape to measure around the fullest part of the bust. After that, with the bicep, you use a tape to measure around the largest part of the arm. Then, with the waist you measure around the smallest part of the tummy. With the hip, you measure around the fullest part of the bottom. With the shirt length you begin from the top of your shoulder, next to your neck, and measure straight down to where you want the shirt to end. With sleeve length, you start from the top of your shoulder and measure down to your wrist, with your arm slightly bent. Beside, there are some notices when you take measurements. You must keep the tape measure completely level when measuring body's circumference. And you should wear shoes with the correct heel height for hemline or inseam measurements. In my opinion, the most challenging measurement is the shoulder width, because you have to find the right position of two shoulder bones. If not, the measurement can be wrong. They can help us during the job process and build relationships. There are some interpersonal skills such as verbal communication, non- verbal communication, listening skills, decision - making, assertiveness skill, problem-solving skill,... I will explain in details two types of those skills. First, assertiveness skill is speaking honest opinions without hurting others. It makes us to feel self - assured and confident at work. For example, your co-worker suggests a new idea, but you don't like it. You have to disagree clearly but politely. You can say "that makes sense, but...". Second, problem-solving skill is solving problems when mistakes happen. It helps us explore potential solutions and address risk.
