Today I started my internship journey as a Supply Chain Management Trainee at Perusahaan Otomobil Nasional Sdn. Bhd (PONSB), located at Tanjong Malim, Perak.

I was put under the unit of the Supply Chain Management Department and supervised by Mr. Zurizal. Throughout my journey, I will be together with the SCM team to smoothen the learning process.

Self-report with Pn. Nur Izzati, the Recruiter Executive from the Human Resource Department.
Joined a short company briefing by Mr. Nazri.
Having an one-hour briefing on Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) with a staff from SHE Department at Safety Dojo.
Joined an one-hour Plant visiting tour lead by Mr. Abu Said.
Short introduction session with the SCM team at the Admin Building by Mrs. Effa.

Manage to made my second day at Proton Tanjong Malim in the department set for my title.

Continuing the briefing session regarding Lead Logistics Provider (LLP), the formulas and calculation terms used in Supply Chain working system.
Taking an one-hour visiting to Trim and Final 1&2 (TF 1&2) unit, led by Mr. Mushidi, from Logistics Engineering of SCM department.

Fill my days by visiting the vendors which supplies the PROTON's chassis parts at Proton City Industrial Park Tanjong Malim for Local Vendor Packaging (LVP) activity. The visit was accompanied by Mr. Mushidi (Assistant Manager) and Mr. Muhammad Nawi (Senior Executive) from Logistics Engineering (LE) unit.

8:00 a.m.: Had a short meeting with Logistics Engineering (LE) department to update latest information of project.

11:00 a.m.: Visiting Pos Logistics Berhad (PLB) to observe the warehouse process. Manage to look detail about the flow of distribution of logistics. We also had a short meeting together with Mr. Hanif, Operation Supervisor PLB.
12:00 p.m.: Visiting Toupu Malaysia plants 1 and 2 to observe and inspect the quality of the racking system used to send the parts from the manufacturer to Proton.
2:05 p.m.: Going to the Process Control (PC) office at TF 2 to do printing and laminating the numbering for the synchro trolley.
3:00 p.m.: Visiting DRB-Hicom Teck See (HTS) to discuss regarding the packaging issue of supplying bumper parts to Proton.

A 24-years old student of Bachelor of Business Administration (Logistics and Transportation) with Honors from Universiti Utara Malaysia.
