I think interpretations of imagery is one thing, but to completely use AI to change the very fabric of ones thoughts and perspectives is beyond crossing the line.

To me it entirely depends on the purpose. Is it meant to be art? Then it should have human subjects and human artists. Is it meant to merely convey ideas? Then anything goes, AI is an amazing tool to further our imagination. Is it for business, to make money? As long as people are always prioritized over profit, I am more than okay with it.

I think I personally draw image manipulation at AI being used to create someone's image without their permission. An example of this I recall is before at a convention after Stan Lee's passing, Marvel set up a talk station to talk to an AI copy of Stan Lee trained on his previous discussions in media. This was a very controversial event.
