One thing that really stood out to me was that not every college offers all possible degrees. For example, Davidson college only offers a Bachelor's Degree, while Ohio University offers all degrees.  Another thing that stood out to me is that not all colleges require SAT/ACT scores. In fact, most colleges don’t require it at all and only consider them if they are submitted. Those were two things that really stood out to me while exploring colleges.

It is just overall way less expensive than other colleges and offers everything I need to have a successful career. It also only offers a Bachelor’s Degree. Not only that but it has an 18% acceptance rate and is extremely far away from home, meaning I would barely get to see my family. Some of my main findings are the categories a school can be under, special study options, and job placement rates.I have learned that no matter how small a college is they usually allow you to study abroad, which I personally think is really cool. I also learned that there are more than just two categories a school can be put into. I was under the impression that colleges were either private or public. I did not know that colleges could also be urban, suburban, or rural. Along with all the things I learned, I also learned about job placement rates. This could be a very helpful thing in choosing colleges and I didn’t even know it was a thing. After researching I found a lot of things that you would have to worry about in college and I would rather not be miserably stressed. I am comfortable with the qualities of school and generally like attending school. I like to do hands-on activities and participate in class discussions. The life of the mind is exciting to me and I enjoy learning for the sake of learning. I like a good academic challenge and enjoy trading perspectives with others. Nontraditional colleges would be worth considering. I have the skills to succeed in college and college will probably seem less demanding than I expect it to be. I don’t need the excitement of a large college because I am able to generate my own activities. I view college as a way to achieve lifetime goals. I also care about the world and have a strong sense of compassion and empathy towards others. I don’t let others direct my decisions so I will be a good decision maker in college. I am in touch with my good and bad qualities and am ok with who I am. Both academics and extracurricular activities are important to me so I should choose a college that will allow me to have a balanced life and pursue other activities. I should also choose a college where I am similar to other students. Lastly, I am excited for college and my enthusiasm is going to be a great asset in learning and to master college. Adjustment will be easy for me and I have very specific goals for college.

Protagonists don’t always have it easy even though they have the potential to accomplish a lot. Protagonists can be unrealistic, overly empathetic, and overly idealistic. 
    One of their less positive traits is that they can be unrealistic at times. Protagonists put a lot of pressure on themselves to make everything right in the world even though that is nearly impossible. If they aren’t careful they can end up spreading themselves too thin and be left unable to help anyone or anything.
    Although compassion is one of a Protagonist's greatest strengths they have a tendency to take on other people’s problems as their own. In the end it just leaves them emotionally and physically exhausted after taking on so much stress and responsibility for other people’s problems. 
    Lastly, Protagonists can be overly idealistic. They have a pretty clear picture of what is right and what is wrong and they naturally assume that everybody else shares these fundamental principles, or that they should. In the end it gets on a Protagonist’s nerves when people violate these core values.

We tend to choose careers that involve teaching others or just a career that  improves another person's life. Some of the best career paths for a Protagonist would be social work, teaching, counseling, coaching, health care, or public interest law. We are known to have positions of influence. It explained that Protagonists didn’t really care what other people thought if they truly believed in something they would speak up about it. That was something that surprised me. Two of the biggest things that didn’t surprise me at all was how I want to pursue something that helps others and that I really see the big picture of things.
