they have to find how much sqft it is by mutilplying the base and sides of the rectangle

i would say to multiply the mesurment of the bottom and the side and once you get your answer make it squared.

You would have to times both sides of the rectangle to find out the area. Also after you get your answer that will be square feet or square miles.

To find the area of a rectangle you have to multiply the bottom and the side of the rectangle to fine out the area.

I would say you have to multiply the length by the width. :) Don't forget to say squared. example: 40 ft. sq.

Get the measurements for the top and side an multiply to get the area and then I believe you can get the area of the rectangle
