         <description><![CDATA[<p>ME AND THE SCHOOL<br></p><p>&nbsp;I am a teacher of Drawing and Art History at a high school in the province of Naples. My school is an Institute with four different fields of study: High School, Language, Humanities and Art School. Since a couple of years my school devotes much attention to teaching and related training. It has also invested heavily on technology and its wise use. The school boasts an excellent TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION via SmartBoard present in all 44 classrooms, two laboratories ICT with 25 PCs each, and thanks to the presence of various interactive projectors all networked and connected with any type of device in use by students and professors (Lim touch screen, PC / laptops). The internet connection is pretty good, able to use either a cable connection is a wifi connection. However, despite the inclusion of new technologies yet many teachers are still afraid of new technology, but I think it is a problem that must be overcome and look to the future </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>My classes are held only with the exclusive use of the SmartBoard; the pupil is easily protagonist to the board and can move through the various functions that the LIM offers. But the Use of Tablets would benefit even easier the understanding and learning of the learner. I just created my accoun on Padlet. It seems easy to use and I'm starting my exploration! Learn computer is especially learn how it works until you can teach and do new things, I am discovering with the participation of the students that what you can do nowadays with computer science is really incredible.&nbsp;<br><br><p>1.<span>&nbsp; </span>Why do I want to use the tablets?<br></p><p>Having the use of tablets at school and not just think it's the closest thing we have to a super-power especially when both have dell'aree interdisciplinary<br>work with which you can build your learning program. From the knowledge in this course and they bring it to the students I immediately found interest and<br>desire to do their part. Unfortunately not yet availability of tablets we have limited the use of laptops by creating paths of study on various art history<br>lessons, and found that even the weakest having a systematic and functional study failed to achieve satisfactory results .<br></p></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>&nbsp;The Tablet is revealed as the perfect medium size, very aesthetically pleasing to the boy. Taking care, if necessary, to limit access to only one use of the instrument aimed at learning and communicative exchange. Of course, the use made of it should be wise. The "secret" lies in not wanting to overdo it, in responding to the needs simplifying how to achieve the goal, without succumbing to the temptation of wanting to do at all costs to the instrument everything is capable only because "may" and not because they "need". Remove the chair and break the traditional deployment front between teacher and students. A new setting of the classroom that has a strategy to stimulate active learning and student-centered that brings out good teaching practices to be shared with students and use more systematically. Then the teacher must start planning and mark each day not only the content of the lectures but also the methodology adopted in order to monitor the path, avoid repetition. The moments of frontal can be reduced greatly. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><b>Can you tell us something about your school and what characterizes<br>it in terms of teaching and vision of the role of education for the future of<br>the new generations?</b></p><p><span>Puntiare essentially to provide students with the skills<br>required in the XXI century:<br>• Collaborate<br>• Learn in an autonomous and responsible<br>• Learning to learn<br>• Problem solving skills<br>• Development of creativity<br><br>These skills are hard to gather if you distraught didactics transmissive. Conversely<br>an active learning and student-centered, which itself becomes the protagonist and<br>builder of his knowledge, is able to develop nell'alunno all the skills required<br>by the modern knowledge society and the modern world of work.</span></p><p><span><br></span></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>If you have experienced the tablet in the classroom can you tell us some of&nbsp;the&nbsp;projects?&nbsp;</p><p>In the class we are using a notebook. Each student brings to the classroom their device portable PC that currently replaces the Tablet. Sometimes this choice creates a bit 'of alignment problems of software, but all in all is going well. Each classroom is wired and equipped with its own personal access point. The network is by far the most used tool thanks to the opportunities offered by such platforms edu google&nbsp; classroom&nbsp;.</p><p>How do you judge the reactions of the students?</p><p>Excellent. We simply follow their learning styles and their ways of communicating. Technology is changing the school as well as the lives of people. Effects and results are not easily predictable, especially in terms of cognitive and learning of new knowledge.</p><p>In your opinion, what future awaits us?</p><p>Without a doubt, it goes on. What confuses me personally a little 'is the speed with which "evolve" in these new forms. The challenge is great. If the school will not be able to accept it, I'm afraid to lose its meaning. So I think we should quickly change the paradigm: from knowing the meaning of knowledge. And the technologies, without a doubt, are tools facilitators of the<br>process.</p>]]></description>

The technological evolution is such that teachers who oppose the technology in the classroom and not to fear the technology should start worrying about those who do not fear it. They will replace them soon because the only ones to get in tune with the students of the new generations and to be able to work with them.Many are the reasons that should convince any teacher to take a tablet to school.
