They both had dreams about them fighting in the ring and either one wanted to win at all costs and when it came to the fight they lost that win at all costs attitude and they didn't matter what the outcome was.

The movie warrior is about two brothers that were separated because of an abusive dad at a young age. The brothers both at an adult age need money but they need to compete in a mma tournament. After one brother being hated by the other brother the end of the fight brings them back together. This connects to the amigo brothers because both the moral of Warrior, (the movie) the Amigo Brothers (story) are how friendship overcomes conflict in a sporting event.
