In the Grasslands, plants such as Buffalo Grass, or Bermuda grass have roots that adapted to the environment and are able to grow back very quickly after a fire. The plants that are adapted have long roots to get water to survive when the biome is dry.
The deep roots in the grasslands is the main adaptation on being able to receive nutrients and grow back. It's like the plants in the grassland are made to live in this heat and climate.

The buffalo is adapted to the Grasslands mainly because of the grass. Its like the grass never dries out making it possible for buffalo to eat no matter what. Another adaptation it has is its horns, they help when they need to protect themselves from animals like bobcats. Bobcats adapt to the grasslands by being camouflage and having ears made to pick up little sounds. Another characteristic they have is claw retraction; their claws are for catching prey and climbing trees when needed to.
