I am the youngest of 3 siblings. I can be seen as an extrovert most of the time, and people often describe my "social battery" as limitless. In terms of university involvement, I am involved in the Mahallah Representative Committee (MRC) of Mahallah Bilal since the start of Sem 1. 2024/2025.

Sustainable development can be described as a way of fulfilling the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs. I think the basis of the concept of sustainable development resonates deeply with the core of Islam, in which Islam promotes growth, but it also teaches us to take care of the world, similar to how the Prophet S.A.W was sent as a mercy to the whole world, regardless of race, religion, background, species etc, which also relates with the 5Ps or the dimensions of the SDGs. As such, with the correct intentions, applying the SDGs can be considered as an 'Ibadah and will subsequently give rewards to us.

I consider myself as an outgoing person, and easy to approach. I am a sports person, as i love doing sports more than academic learning. However, I do emphasise educations since it could provide the knowledge that is useful for the upcoming stages of life. i have a large physique, sometimes people think i am older than them but we are really the same age since I look older than my age. I love other things such as musics and films, especially the rom-com ones. I am looking forward to learn the subject and working together with my classmates.

As an outgoing and approachable person who values both sports and education, I can relate to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in multiple ways. My passion for sports aligns with Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3), as physical activity promotes a healthy lifestyle. While I prefer sports over academics, I still emphasize education, connecting with Quality Education (SDG 4), which ensures knowledge for future success. A little teaser about me, my name is Naufal, but usually called Nopal. I'm a first year law student and currently in my second semester. I love art and love sketching but avoid drawing living things, focusing on objects, landscapes, and abstract designs. I’m also very passionate in soccer and handball, both playing and watching, and I enjoy diving into books, whether fiction or insightful reads. I also have a strong interest in laws, exploring how they shape society and justice. My creativity isn’t limited to drawing, I find inspiration in everything, from the logic of legal systems to the strategy of soccer. Sustainable Development:

When we talk about sustainable development, it is not limited to only environmental issues but also economic growth and social well-being in a society. Environmental sustainability focuses on reducing pollution, conserving natural resources, and overcoming climate change. On the other hand, social sustainability focuses on education, healthcare, human rights, and many more. While economic sustainability offers green jobs, responsible resources, etc. To be part of sustainable development, I was exposed to the 3 Rs which are Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle since I was in high school. Each goal has specific targets to be achieved through collaborative efforts between governments, businesses, and individuals. SDG must be learned by the youngster to ensure the objective behind the plan can be achieve.The SDGs promote a holistic approach to development, focusing on economic, social, and environmental sustainability. By working toward these goals, we aim to create a more equitable, inclusive, and sustainable world for future generations.

Describe yourself: I guess I would describe myself as someone who enjoys playing games and spending my time doing indoor activities. I often become fixated on random things I come across online or in real life, only to lose interest as my attention shifts to something new. I won't lie, I am probably someone most people would call a procrastinator but I would always get the job done. Other than that, I wouldn't describe myself as an introvert but I usually prefer to spend my free time alone doing my hobbies and such. I'm also into movies and TV shows as I'm always on the hunt to find interesting and compelling films to watch.

Describe Sustainable Development and you: In my opinion, sustainable development is a way to maintain growth and progress in civilization while striving toward goals that benefit humanity as a whole such as ending world hunger, ensure inclusive and equitable quality education, end poverty in all its forms everywhere and reduce inequality within and among countries. About me

I am not really an extroverted person but I love making friends with new people I met in class or mahallah since it will help me create strong connection around the university. Even though I'm not an expert in starting a conversation but I always push myself to approach them in anyway I could think of as long as I being nice and polite to them. Also, I'm kind of diligent type of person, sometimes I love to do cleaning tasks like house chores or cleaning my local 'surau' in the meantime when my father asks to help him to do it and I always do it with full of my heart. I love playing games such as Mobile Legend, Efootball, FIFA, etc. These types of game always gave me thrill, it also train my skill and brain coordination. Not to mention, I also love watching movie and series in Netflix especially animated, thriller and action movies.

In my personal view, sustainable development is really important and will affected the needs of the present without harming the ability of future generations to meet their needs. There are 17 global objectives set by the United Nations (UN) on reaching the sustainable development goals to address challenges like poverty, inequality, climate change, education, etc. Thus, for me this is something we as a healthy and perfect human being that capable in doing the goods and contribute to this sustainable development has a lot to do, it is a responsible for us to start giving attention and look forward to this development, to make sure the future generation got to live in a better environment in every aspect possible.

Pursuing both Shari’ah and civil law, I have a deep passion for meaningful discourse and impactful contributions. During my foundation studies, I won gold at the International Conference on Future and Sustainable Education (ICFSE) for my article on decriminalizing suicide attempts, now published in the Asian Journal of Research in Education and Social Sciences (AJRESS). I lead the podcast project under Huffaz Madani Leadership Program (HMLP) and directed Jangan Drop in Pertandingan Sketsa Syariah under AIKOLFest, earning third place. Beyond academics, I assist my family business, Rezkay Perfume, blending knowledge, leadership, and entrepreneurship in my journey.

I first came across the term Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) during my foundation studies at CFS IIUM Gambang, where untegrating SDGs into presentations and assignments was the norm. To describe about myself, I think I am a mixed person so I can say that I balance between an introvert or an extrovert. I'm approachable and friendly, so I don't mind if someone wants to be friend with me because I also love to meet new people. Other than that, I also punctual person and I don't like wasting times and I think I can't tolerate lateness without valid reason. I also make my schedule to plan my day. I loved to procrastinate before but now I know that procrastination is very bad thing. When you procrastinate your're actually waste a lot of time. I also prefer to spend time alone or have my own me-time just to talk to myself and reflect myself. One thing that I dislike is sitting with people that don't know how to appreciate people. Personally, I learn that we must appreciate other people's effort no matter how small it is. I also have my jogging routine to keep my body fit and also I love to play games to release my stress. I also love to read and I can call myself a 'book worm'.

Sustainable development for me is about balancing economic growth, environmental protection and also social well-being for future generations. For example, if we want to do development project, we need to make sure that the project does not harm the environment. That's why before proceed with the construction, we need to make analyse whether this project is harming the environment or not. Another thing for me is use the resources wisely without wasting it. For example, we must wisely use the water and not simply wasting it.
