<title>A child feels secure in an Amauti because of the physical attachment that it provides. This gives emotional comfort because the presence of the caregiver is felt. The child feels that they are not alone. This therefore gives comfort and security, that’s why they will stop crying and even fall asleep.</title>

<title>In the daycare where I work, we use the amauti to help babies calm down especially when they are new and just starting to adjust to the daycare environment. This provides warmth and comfort which helps the child feel safe and secure. </title>

<title>An Anaana wearing an Amauti is connected to the attachment theory, because it imitates the feeling inside the womb, the anaana feels the baby on her back 7 the baby feels safe &amp; secure in the amauti with the warmth of his/her anaana. -An amauti is used in a daycare setting as a way to help the babies fall asleep or sooth them if they are new to daycare or just need comfort. - A child may feel secure in an amauti because the child is close to the anaana, feels her warmth &amp; love. </title>

<title>The connection between Anaana using an amauti and the child right from birth gives the child the comfortable and safe feeling of being close to their anaana. Therefore using the amauti in the daycare setting would give that child the safe, comfortable and familiar feeling that they are in the amauti with their Anaana. A child would feel secure in the amauti, being close to the anaana’s body and feeling the warmth from their Anaana.</title>

<title>Anaana wearing an amauti is connected to attachment theory because the child feels safe and secure and it feels as if the child is in the womb. Sometimes an amauti is used in a daycare to help them fall asleep, most times it is used for comfort. Marlene </title>
