This fact shows the massive amount of animals that are being subjected to animal testing each year. The millions of animals used in experiments suffer from day to day, and often end up dying.

As of 2023, the population of Canada is around 40 million people. Put into perspective, 110 million animals is an extraordinary amount, and it certainly doesn't mean anything good.

If millions of people were being used in unethical experiments each year, it would be an outrageous scandal. The same should go for animals, which are living beings with feelings and rights like humans.

Overall, alternative options to animal testing can be far more accurate, beneficial, efficient, ethical, and cheap than animal testing.

My Opinion on Animal Testing

I am against the practice of animal testing.

I believe that animal testing is a form of animal cruelty, and I think that it is incredibly unjust and unethical. In my opinion, it is vital to advocate for alternative methods and stricter regulations regarding animal testing.

Not only does animal testing harm animals, it also has negative effects on humans overall. This civic issue should be addressed by working towards progressive alternatives, raising awareness about this issue, and fighting against animal cruelty as a whole.
