The first one being exit tickets, which is a strategy that has been used in many of my classes in the past. I believe that this is not only a great way to pick up if your students are engaged in the lesson, but also to see what confusions they have about certain points. This will lead us to helping them navigate those. The next one I will definitely us is simply watching my students body language because you can tell a lot about how students are feeling about a lesson based on their demeanor. The last one I am excited to use is creating videos so students can explain their reasoning. I have actually read the google slides of different types of formative assessment choices. These have been very useful to me in my field experiences. I think it's important to have a plethora of strategies to use in the classroom to make sure everyone is on track and learning the material correctly. However, we haven't dug too deep in other classes on how to use formative assessments and when the appropriate time for them is.
