Strategic:
Kristine: This involves visions thinking, motivation and empowerment of staff, and the ability to predict what will be needed in the future. One of my mantras is, 'clarity of purpose, clarity of path, clarity of responsibility', which comes to mind when I think about this intelligence.

Feng: Clarity of responsibility is so important. At the same time, we have more and more projects (collective efforts), engage members cooperatively is also a strategy.

Relational:
Feng: At the heart, relational intelligence is closely associated with other intelligences and the capacity to engage with individuals with different values and needs.

Cultural:
Kristine: This involves diversity and complexity. Understanding people and their backgrounds and what they bring to schools is important. Being open-minded and demonstrating cultural competencies are needed attributes in leadership.
Entrepreneurial:

Reflective:
Feng: Every day we are faced with decision making processes. Each choice will be of importance. Learn to look at the general picture and learn from experiences (reflections often) will surely help us be wiser. Cultural, emotional, pedagogical experiences are all helpful in terms of reflection.

Pedagogical:
Feng: Being able to understand ATL and ATT is so important for pedagogical intelligence. Get to know what's most effective in teaching and learning.

Heuristic:
Kristine: Being able to solve problems and make judgments quickly and efficiently seems to be a daily endeavour in schools. This, of course, is also necessary when working in the role as team leader and consultant. One thing that I see as absolutely crucial in the two roles, is that the judgements and decisions made based on triangulation of evidence.
