The Office of Price Administration was the founder and creator of all Rations during WWII. By the end of the war there were about 5,600 local rationing boards that held over 100,000 workers. Rationing during WWII would allow soldiers/people to eat only little amounts of food per day to conserve.

I chose this location for rationing because Europe was a main war front during WWII. A ration was a small package of food that allowed soldiers/people to eat very small amounts of food to conserve their food. This was very effective because you really did not have time to eat a full course meal because of battle.

I chose this location because Volunteers were on their way to battle. A military volunteer is a volunteer who enlists in military service by free will, and is not a conscript, mercenary, or a foreign legionnaire. Approximately 16 million civilians volunteered, 405,399 killed in action and 671,278 wounded. There were also 130,201 American prisoners of war, of 116,129 returned home after the war.
