Well you should read guts by Raina Telgemeier! Its personally one of my favorite books! And Raina Telgemeier is my favorite author. The story is based on Raina in 4th-5th grade when everyone had the gross out phase. For example, Everyone was talking about gross stuff like puke, and more gross things. This book is about 12 different nations that have to join the hunger games which is a killing game that happens every year. Whoever wins the hunger games gets a lot of money and food supply. (Keep in mind most of these nations are very poor and barely have any money.) Each nation selects one boy and girl to participate in the hunger games. So far, I am loving this book and it is very interesting! If you are wondering who some of the characters are, The main character is Katniss Everdeen. She takes care of her mother, her sister prim, and herself who suffer from starvation and who are very poor. During the reaping, also the place where the woman known as Effie Trinket selects who joins the next hunger games every year pulls a name out of the bowl that surprises everyone!
