sion grew up in a happy family with his grandfather, grandmother, father, mother and older sister all living under one roof.

his grandfather was always busy running the family business and his grandmother played her part of the ceo's wife to the tee, always attending social events and hosting guests.

when he was 15 years old, his grandfather retired and took on the role of chairman of hanyang group. since then, his father had taken over the reigns as ceo.

his sister, five years older than he is went on to graduate from harvard business school and joined the company as a manager at hanyang wholefoods, she was promoted to department leader in 2 years. perhaps it was because of her good business acumen that his parents were more willing to let their younger child pursue a medical degree, something he was always passionate about after receiving treatment for kawasaki disease as a child.
