What Nelson Mandela's quote means to is that education is the most powerful tool to change the world for the better sometimes. For example, if it was not Robert Oppenheimer, the atomic bomb would not have been created and Japan might have been able to take over China back in WW2. Then maybe a domino effect would take place meaning that if China fell would Mongolia be next? India? Philippines? Indonesia? But since the atomic bomb was developed they were able to stop Japan's aggressive power grab in Asia. Although the nuclear bomb was not the best invention in the world it did stop Japan from trying to take over Asia. Education is a great weapon to become successful.
