Promotion of cultural/artistic movements

Even if La Paz city is one of the most cultural cities in Bolivia and there are a lot of artistic creations and creators; there exists a few problems with the promotion of art. Here there are four of the most important points to consider:

Concurrence: So many people don't know about these artworks or artistic spaces because those don´t receive the necessary attention of society and influent platforms.

Payment: Being just an artist it's sometimes hard because the government or mayoralty want artists to work for free and that is a problem because they get people used to wanting free art.

Variety: It is something good but sometimes there are so many options that people don't know where to go.

Capitalism: This accelerated lifestyle doesn´t permit people to enjoy of art. That´s the reason why supporting art is also a revolutionary action.

So as an artist I would like to have more opportunities to present part of my work and the opportunity of living well and free.
- Val

I want to write a petition to ask for more subways in Ciudad de Buenos Aires, because it’s a better way to move across the city for many reasons as contamination, travel time and enhancing territorial communication.

It’s a fact that the Ciudad de Buenos Aires is the richest in the country, and this last 20 years or more the government only has created one line more (Line H), the government just improved some areas to optimize the bus traffic, but those creations didn’t enhance significantly the quality of traveling and life of passengers, just optimized it a bit, not even a part that a subway could do it.

We can admit make subways are not cheap, and it takes time, but the taxes in Ciudad de Buenos Aires are high the budget is huge, on the other hand Ciudad de Buenos Aires one of the most populated cities in South America, but they haven’t improved almost nothing the subway structure.

And that is a big problem for western zones, especially southwest that zone of the city is Isolated and public transportation is really difficult at night there, some buses don’t ride since 22 hs, for example

Summarizing, it’s really important to improve the quality of life of people from the city and people who work here.

Sing the petition for the next government take this issue seriously and take care of the citizens.

In the past 30 years there was a big problem in Tarija. The population increased in great quantities. In the other hand the governments didn´t think about on the basic services, like clean water, sanitary drainage, and others. One of the worst problem in this city was the wastewater treatment. The governments built in the 80¨s decades two small reservoirs in the south part of the city. Actually, they are not enough in order that many people moved to Tarija since this city become the center of Gas oil in Bolivia. Besides Tarija is one of the most attractive tourist city in Bolivia, and is near of other tourist cities like Potosi; for that reasons the population increased without control.
The actual wastewater reservoirs are near of city, have terrible smells, and have a big influence in the wild life of people, plants and animals. It is imperative that the local government move this reservoir in far area of the city, try to reduce the impact and solve this city problem right now. Grover

Stop traffic in Potosi

In Potosi, it has become increasingly common to encounter heavy traffic throughout the day. The only respite comes in the morning, but even then, finding transportation can be challenging due to the lingering effects of the morning rush hour. This traffic congestion is exacerbated by the city's narrow streets, which make it difficult to navigate.

To address this issue, I propose the following measures:

Install additional traffic lights at high-traffic areas, such as schools and hospitals, to better regulate traffic flow.

Consider reducing the number of primary routes for public transportation (micros). It may seem unconventional, but a significant portion, around 90%, of micros follow identical routes to reach various destinations. This redundancy contributes to the traffic congestion, particularly in certain areas of Potosi.
To the Mayor office of Tarija: ''RECYCLING MOVEMENT''

I am writing as a citizen concerned about the environment and the welfare of our beloved Tarija. I would like to express my deep concern about the lack of adequate facilities for the separation and recycling of solid waste in our streets. In this way, I would like to submit the following petition with the name of the "Recycling Movement."

Recycling is an essential practice to reduce the negative impact we generate in our environment and to promote sustainability. However, it is evident that in our city we lack the necessary infrastructure to facilitate waste separation and recycling in public spaces.

Therefore, we respectfully request that the Mayor's Office of Tarija consider implementing recycling containers on every street in our city as part of the "Recycling Movement." These recycling containers would be designed to encourage proper waste segregation, allowing our citizens to actively contribute to the reduction of pollution and the preservation of our natural resources.

The benefits of this initiative would be numerous, including:
Promotion of environmental awareness: recycling containers on the streets would constantly remind citizens of the importance of recycling and caring for our environment.
Pollution reduction: Proper waste segregation would decrease the amount of non recyclable waste in landfills, reducing soil and water contamination.
Job creation: Managing these recycling containers could generate local employment opportunities in the collection and processing of recyclable materials.

As citizens committed to the sustainable future of our community, we are willing to collaborate in the implementation and maintenance of these recycling containers. Furthermore, we are confident that this initiative will strengthen the image of Tarija as a responsible and environmentally committed community.

We hope that the Mayor's Office of Tarija will consider this request seriously and take steps to carry out the implementation of the "Recycling movement" .We are willing to collaborate in any phase of the process and contribute ideas and resources to make this project a reality.

Pollution : one of the most difficult global problems to combat, as a general issue it refers to garbage in the oceans, pesticides and fertilizers, air pollution, light and noise. Of course, I could state that it´s a fact that well according to many people we can´t solve or maybe according to me we don´t want to stop it, since there can be many ways but none of them has an end, for example:
1.- On January 15, 2022 there was an oil spill by REPSOL and it extended until Monday, affecting the life of several beaches of: Ventanilla, Santa Rosa, Ancon, Aucallama, Chancay.
The beaches were considered uninhabitable for all living beings, so what happened to the habitats found there? Although some animals were rescued, but thousands perished.
2.-Now, the pollution of Lake Titicaca is certainly not a new issue, as that space is one, it extendes from Copacaba to Puno.
"We protested when children died and nothing happened. There used to be fish, now there are none. In five more years, all Titicaca species will be endangered. For this reason, and despite the death threats, we will continue protesting. If we are going to die , we will die, but something must be done," say the villagers.
While many of us want transformation to happen, altought others aren´t cooperating.
So it's a wake-up call in the way we´re living with the planet, we don't own it. So I end with this petitioin by Severn Suzuki :
"I´m here to speak for all generations to come, I´m fighting for my future,I´m afraid to breathe the air, because I don't know what chemicals are in it, and know we hear of animals and plants going to extinct, every day ,vanishing forever, all this´s happening before our eyes, and yet we act act as if we have all the time we want and all the solutions ,if you don´t know how to fix it ,please stop breaking it.
