The book revolves around a girl named Janie who recognizes her face on a milk carton. The book has lots of suspense and mystery in it. The book goes on to show how she deals with knowing she was kidnapped when she was younger. The whole thing was a extreme shock to Janie considering her parents seem the complete opposite of kidnappers. Three year old Jannat Ameer was kidnapped in Lahore, Pakistan. This relates to the book because it was two children who were kidnapped at a local shopping mall.  Another connection is that Janie was also three years old when kidnapped. Along with Jannat. Jannat was taken August 2, 2016.
