British Blues resurrected the African American music styles in many ways others had not. Blues started getting the recognition it deserved once the white rock musician discovered the genre in the 1960's.

British Blues helped save the African American music world. British Blues played a signifanct role duirng world war it helped settled the nerves caused by the nazi bombing raids. As the serivemen were sent back home to Liverpool the sounds of british blues went with them as well. These records inspired the creation of jazz, and dixieland. This then had white Americans helped involve them into blues musicans. This later then opened the door to southern rock and the development of texas blues as well. Not only did the white Americans respects the musicans of British Blues but they seemed to have a greater interest in the Aficans Americans.

Another Influence British Blues had was having white Americans respect African Americans. With all the segregation happening during the 60's many people find it hard to believe that White Americans may have respected the African Culture, As they grew more of a respect towards them. They used the African American culture to make more money off the records as well.
