Wiley and the Hairy Man, African-American Folktale, 4/24

In this story, Wiley encounters a challenge with a fictional character capable of shapeshifting and other conjur. This character's name is the "Hairy man" and he acts as the villian for supposedly killing Wiley's father and now trying to capture Wiley. This writing is proved to be traditional because of it's unhuman-like characters (the Hairy Man), and the Hairy Man's super power traits and capability of conjure/magic. These traits play a strong role in the plot of the story because the magic is what shapes the events in the story. The events that were formed because of this magic were each of the acts that made the Hairy man challenging to Wiley like his ability to shapeshift. These features made the text a traditional folk-tale.
