I like this chapter because it made me appreciate "minimalist" music much more, when before i disliked it. But it also made one of my favorite songs of all time become so much more meaningful. "Runaway" by Kanye West is a song about how he's telling the girl of his dreams to run away from him, because he's a bad guy. The musical elements that are present throughout the entire 9 minute piece are 2 piano keys, that I've learned with the help of this chapter, are incredibly powerful. The idea of perfection is always an opinion, but there are some pieces in music where you truly believe nothing would fit better than that one element.I agree with this, because there are a few songs where you feel as if a sound was created just for that musician's piece.
