The Teacher could have:
-Been more aware of what was happening in the back of the class.
-Asked Terry if there was anything wrong if he frequently asked to leave class.
-Moved Terry away from Douglas.
- TURNING POINT 6: Relationships with teachers matter to the student. If the teacher had paid more attention to his class and gotten to know Terry on some kind of a personal level, perhaps Terry have told him about what was going on.

The Nurse could have:
-Asked Terry how school was going and how his relationships with classmates were.
