If the fighting would end, many deaths from both sides would be prevented. The Consistent Life Ethic would support this option. It teaches us that when we, people are stripped down to our most basic components, we are all humans no matter how we look, what we believe in or what we have done in the past. Seeking peace would promote this value because we would stop seeing people as enemies.
