I don´t agree beacause i think it would be a waste of time and not useful for a lot of people that are struggling to make ends meet. If history was compulsory, it would make life a lot boring.

Lucas

I Agree Because understanding the past helps us avoid repeating mistakes. It gives us a sense of identity and teaches us about our own culture and others. It's not just about memorizing dates and events, but learning to think critically about how we got here and where we're going. History opens our minds, teaches empathy, and makes us more informed and responsible citizens. So yes, everyone should study History until they finish school.

I couldn't agree more with this statement, since, in my opinion, history is a key subject that everyone should be taught. Studying history is so important because learning about the past makes you able to comprehend the present and aim for a better future, apart from preventing us from repeating the same mistakes that others have already had made.

I definitely agree with this statement, once we finish the secondary school at eighteen, you should have learned enough history for the rest of the life.

However, I think it is very important to study history at least up to the age of 16.

Agustin W

I am not too sure about that. I think that althought history can be boring and a subject that is not really dynamical, it is important to know what has happened in the past and also in the present. A person over the age of eighteen should know the problems that came across our world and the problems that might appear in the feature.

Lola

Simón Pezman

I disagree with making history compulsory for all students up to eighteen because not everyone is interested in history. Forcing it on everyone might make some students bored and less motivated. Instead, students should have the choice to focus on subjects they enjoy and are good at, which can help them do better in school and prepare for their future careers.

Studying history should be compulsory until the age of eighteen because understanding our past can help prevent many unfortunate events that people might attempt in the future. When we understand what happened before, we can make better decisions. History shows us the consequences of certain actions and helps us see what to do and what not to. BENI

Even though a lot of students feel like history is boring, i agree with the statement. Imagine if history was optional, and some kids that don't like history make the same mistakes pople did in the past. History can be a bit boring, but it is essential for making future decisions. I think that the future is based on the past, since knowing the past can save you from bad experiencies in the future.

Agus H

I think that the statement is really accurate, despite I don´t enjoy studying this subject because I find it boring, I reckon it is useful for people to know the most important events that makes us the society we are nowadays and avoiding the repetition of past mistakes. I don´t find necessary to study and know everything about every single thing that took place in all around the history, just the most important things and dates.

Iara

Also, for remembering everything that happened that was not good for our country or for the world so that they don´t happen again.

Malena
