For example, if there was an experiment outdoors, and it started raining, the experiment may be canceled for that day, which may decay the research or give an inaccurate measure if the experiment were time-based. Participant variables may also affect research. This may come in the way of prejudices, previous experience, level of intelligence, gender and personality. How this could affect research is let's say the experimenter asks the researcher to do a task in order to measure how they do that task, but that task deals with engrained beliefs in people, and some people may be reluctant or react uncontrollably to the task, which may delay or skew research </div>]]></description>
