This is an unjust discrimination. . "Unborn children with Down syndrome are bona fide human beings but are being discriminated against because they have a characteristic that some people arbitrarily believe disqualifies them from being valuable and protected."

Often parents too be that are expecting a child with downs are scared, because they are uniformed. " Children with Down syndrome are attending mainstream schools and are learning to read and write alongside their peers. Young adults with Down syndrome are attending college and living independently, and some are gainfully employed. "

Especially when people are uneducated and know little information on people with this disability.

Misguided and outdated attitudes about the abilities of people with Down syndrome can result in low expectations, discrimination and exclusion, resulting in communities where children and adults with Down syndrome cannot integrate successfully. "

Down syndrome people are anything but ordinary, and are everything but extraordinary. And more people need to be less discriminatory and judgement free, and be open and willing to learn.
