What People think

People may think that disabled people are really bad at sports. But in the articles I read they can do a lot more than what you may think they can do. In the article No legs, no problem there is this guy that has no legs and goes 37-0 so he never lost a game. text evidence for that is, "After the tournament, he stood atop the winner's podium. Hawthorne had a perfect 37-0 record, a state title and two stumps where his legs once had been. There also was a group of people that could not move there right side well and they got to state on running. Also is a swim club that allows kids that are disabled to swim and there was a kid with no arms and he was really good at swimming. That is why people who think that disabled people are bad at sports are wrong because people that are disabled can be good at sports.

People want to help people that are disabled and so they did, A group of people wanted to teach people that are disabled how to swim. In the arthritic there is this piece of evidence that said, "However, the trips have allowed Ismail to become a proud member of Spid. It is the only swimming club in the country for children with disabilities." There was a football player that visited a autistic kid and the autistic kid because popular. Also people that run with disability's that have themselves that help themselves. The people with disabilities are trying to become good runners by working hard. then people have realized that they are wrong and that disabled people can be good at sports

Why was the stereotype wrong?

The stereotypes were all wrong because people thought that they were all bad at sports but they were actually good. People got 3rd place in state for wrestling, The boy with no arms learned how to swim and was good at it, and the runners got to go to state because they were good enough. from that article it said, "In June 2016, Michelle traveled to Clovis, California, to run in the statewide 100-, 200- and 400-meter races." The stereotype is wrong because people are thinking that people with disability are bad at sports but this information proves the wrong. That proves that the stereotypes were wrong.

People need to know this because if they are disabled and they have a passion they could do these thing and have the passion come true. People might also need to know this because maybe they think that people with disability's are bad at sports they could now know that they are wrong. That is why people need to know this
