Donovan goes up to the statue and not thinking and whacks the bottom of Atlas with a stick which causes Atlas’ globe to roll into the gymnasium where the basketball game is held. But thanks to a mix up he is sent to a academy for scholastic distinction instead of getting in trouble. In this last minute predicament Donovan has to fit in with all of the gifted kids because if hardcastle finds out he is worried his family will go bankrupt. Can Donovan fit in or will the word gifted overpower him.
