To begin with, it will help them with goal setting, so they know what they want to be and what they want to do in the future. For example, when they want to be a global player, they know what to be. Moreover, competition teaches them to play by role, so they use role to make plan before the game started and they can win. Also, competition can help the children to improve their skills in sport, for example if they are not that much skillful player on football, they can practice more to improve their skills. In conclusion, I think that competitive sports can help the children to become successful adults in the future.
