On top of being a student I have worked for CSUF's Housing and Residential Engagement Department for four years. I am also going onto my second year as a coach/mentor for an after-school program, REACH. While doing work for REACH I have also become a research assistant for the coordinator of REACH. I am also a Peer Mentor for the Department for Kinesiology. One of the most inspiring trips I've taken was a study abroad trip to Brazil where i taught baseball and football to students in Rio de Janeiro! This is where I RIOlized I loved teaching.

My family and friends are a huge part of my life, without their love and support I don't think I would have made it this far into college. I also find happiness whenever I help students or people in distress.
