In my childhood the only emotional support I had was my mom. She was the only one who showed me love by hugging me and kissing me. The only one was there when I was sad and I needed a hug. She taught me that with a hug will heal from a wound. And I will feel better.
Now day, I am a hug person and I love to give hugs. I teach this to my students, my kids. I treat them as my own kids. I love them as a mother. As soonest I get to my sit, I go around the classroom and I start hugging the kids, one by one. Most of them love it and some feel weird. Even during the day or any random moment I give hugs.

*Economic Support*
Since I was little, I always consider myself and family with basic economy class. I never had too much money, neither nothing to eat. I always had exactly what I need. I remember when I used to ask my mom for something special and specific, sometimes my mom will say, "I don't have  the money right now for that, but we'll see", Or sometimes she will come with something similar, but she will always bring me something from the store. My mom taught me that is ok to have it, when we have the money, but is also ok to not have if there is no money. She will always find the way to make me understand and be thankful for what we have and what's important to buy.
We this kids now days, I really surprise because, parents give them whatever they want, at the moment they want it. Otherwise they will throw a fit and have tantrums.

*Socialization*
My mom was a home women and always worked a lot. Since I remember she was always home after work. It was occasionally when she will go out with her friends and will take me. I only had the chance to go out, if It was with my mom. So I had not a lot of friends outside my circle of people. It was until I came to the USA and began High School.

*Values and Beliefs*
Since I was little, my mom always taught me good values. To respect my elders, to be quite when I need it to and to always respect God. I always knew if I do something bad God will punished me and I always respect him. I didn't know the real meaning of this when I was a child, until I grow up. I learned with my own experiences, that God loves me no mother what, and He will not punished me like I though. He's like a regular parent worrying about their children, and there is only my own consequences of doing something wrong. I feel God more as  Dad, the Father that I never had in my life. 

*Ethnic and Cultural Identity*
I'm from Mexico. I was born and raised half of my life there. Until my decided to come to the USA, when I was 15. My cultures tells a lot of me. Who I am and what I like. Starting from the food, I love Mexican food to much but not the music. Yes I was discriminated, long time ago. My first year of High School. I didn't know how to speak English, so that caused me a lot of trouble.

*Educational Underpinnings*  
Since I remember, My mom Always pushed and forced me to go to school. I been honest, I never liked school. I always been lazy to get up early to go to school, also I always suffered bulling. But my mom always forced me to go. She will never missed the school. She always wanted me to be a doctor, because she could never do it. But when I told her, that I wanted to be a teacher she supported me and encourage me to go to college and study what I love.

*Personal or Family Challenges*
Five years ago my mom took the decision to go back to Mexico after teen years of living in the USA. I was barely going back, again to College and finally setting establishing my career. My mom supported me during all my life and help me during all my life, economy and emotionally. When I new that my mom was leaving the country, I couldn't believe it and accepted. Knowing that my mom was leaving, affect my entire live and I couldn't afford college no more and I had to stop going for a lot of time.
