Reason for the War: The King Menelaus wanted his kidnapped wife Queen Helen, who was taken by Prince Paris, back so he assembled and army to go and retrieve her in Troy. 
Major Parties Involved: The Greeks and the people of Troy
The Trojan Horse Explained: The Trojan horse was a huge hallow wooden horse filled with Greek soldiers left at the gates of Troy. The people of Troy would receive it as a gift and once entered through the gates the Greeks would jump out and attack.
Outcome of the War: The Greeks destroyed the city and ended the war. As for Paris and Helen, Helen went back to her husband and Paris was rescued by Aphrodite.
