         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>Reason for the War: The King Menelaus wanted his kidnapped wife Queen Helen, who was taken by Prince Paris, back so he assembled and army to go and retrieve her in Troy.&nbsp;<br>Major Parties Involved: The Greeks and the people of Troy<br>The Trojan Horse Explained: The Trojan horse was a huge hallow wooden horse filled with Greek soldiers left at the gates of Troy. The people of Troy would receive it as a gift and once entered through the gates the Greeks would jump out and attack.<br>Outcome of the War: The Greeks destroyed the city and ended the war.
