11/7/16
I having a feeling that Sage is a very shy, and quiet person but when it comes to her opinions she can be very determined. I also believe that she takes religion very seriously, because when she finds out that Mr. Weber was a Nazi, she wants to confirm that his a Nazi to put him in prison. I also feel like she feels offended that Mr. Weber is a Nazi because her family are Jews.

On the storyteller I'm actually surprised that I have read further then what I expected because I never really had an interest in reading because i never truly had a book that caught my attention. But, the reason I chose this book was to give myself a challenge something that made me push myself to complete something I never liked to do. The story so far shows you how people really think. It shows how something so small can become a chaos and tragedy. I also shows you how people may seem tough and big on the outside but in reality are small and sensitive in the inside. Since this is my first time reading, which I believe is a challenging book, my reading has improved in a way because in the beginning it was slow and difficult but now it's easier to understand. I honestly believe I at least deserve myself a B in my reading because it's helped my improve my reading skills and i put my effort in understand and learning the concept of the story.

Hey Wendy!
I am quite surprised and happy that you are able to find enjoyment in this book! I too find this book a very interesting read and not only because I find Holocaust and World War II stories fascinating. I hope that as you read further into the book that you still think that it is a good book and continue loving books. Looking at your very first response and comparing it with the 4th post, you have changed and your analysis of the story is getting past the surface. My suggestion is that try to think more about what has happened in the past up to the part your in. Identify and think about the dialogue and the feelings of the character. The way the book is written shows insight to the main character deeper as it is in first person. We get to see her as a person. Try to create a picture of her and what you think she would act when the she is pushed to be uncomfortable. But the analysis, you have is very well done considering that this book is challenging to start with.

I hope you to post somethings that you are confused, concerns or just want to point out. I don't want this to just be me asking you questions. I want to be able to understand what your thinking process is and the way you make connections with the story. Please do tell me what part and page you have read already so, the posts will be more up to date about where you at. :)

~Keep on reading and challenging yourself. In the beginning, it may seem scary and I know how it feels, but in the end it's worth it. These challenges are what keeps us moving and changing for the best. By the end, we know the limits and what we are best with. ~

Have a great break!
