Su cuerpo está cubierto de ESCAMAS, y tiene forma HIDRODINÁMICA.
Poseen ALETAS en el tronco y extremidades para impulsarse y maniobrar.
Respiran a través de las BRANQUIAS, que captan el oxígeno y lo llevan a la sangre. Se sitúan en los laterales de la cabeza mediante unas aberturas.
La mayoría de los peces son OVÍPAROS, pero sus huevos no tienen cáscara, por ello los ponen en el agua y se secan en la tierra.
