*Egypt is located in northeast Africa and it is mostly a desert.
*The Nile river flows through many different African countries including Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Uganda, and Burundi. 
There are two  major tributaries that feed the Nile, the White Nile and the Blue Nile.
*The Nile River played an important role in shaping the lives and society of Ancient Egypt. They used the river for farming.

From July to October the fields surrounding the Nile are flooded. The farmers can’t work on the flooded fields. From November to February the farmers are back in the fields. During the period of March to June, the farmers harvest their crops.  The three most important crops were wheat, flax, and papyrus.
Wheat - Wheat was the main staple food of the Egyptians.

That believed that there were god and goddesses.Egyptians believe that the queen had special connection to two goddesses one connections to tow goddesses was lsis the first goddesses/queen of Egypt the goddesses of women love and happiness .
They love nature so they made king’s of nature they also Had temples and believed in after death.They believe that the god Ra died when the sun went down and when the sun rise he is reborn.

    Ancient Egyptians use symbols called hieroglyphics for writing.  

    Ancient Egyptians do not use money during the new kingdom

    They produced barely onions lentils and bread to eat cloth for clothes mud bricks for building and clay pots for storage.

    They traded with other villages and foreigners to get more variety and better quality goods.

    Local craftsman and peasant woman laid out goods to sell cloths which they spread on the ground.

    There was food and drink for sale: salt, barely, onions, peas, beans, barely bread, and beer.

    Five thousand years ago, Egyptian craftsmen produced wonderful objects in stone, copper, gold and wood.
