         <description><![CDATA[<div><br></div><div>*Egypt is located in northeast Africa and it is mostly a desert.<br>*The Nile river flows through many different African countries including Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Uganda, and Burundi. <br>There are two  major tributaries that feed the Nile, the White Nile and the Blue Nile.</div><div>*The Nile River played an important role in shaping the lives and society of Ancient Egypt. They used the river for farming.<br><br>From July to October the fields surrounding the Nile are flooded. The farmers can’t work on the flooded fields. From November to February the farmers are back in the fields.
