It shows that i'm happy about my victory and proud of myself.

Personally, yes and no. I say yes and no because despite how many times you change the pose or position of your body, you'll still think the same way no matter the scenario, however I believe that the way you think actually influences your body language. However, I do agree with the viewing part. Yes, it can because body language not only gives off an impression to others due to them seeing you externally but it also influences the impression that you get from others.

If you sit in a certain position, you seem powerful and confident and strong to others, and sometimes yourself. For example, when my mother is working she livers her body up and her shoulders out so she doesn't appear "weak" or disinterested.

I agree with the speaker that changing my body language can change the way I think and act and/or how it makes other people view. One of the topics she had brought up is that when you have "high power" and "low power poses" affect our nonverbal communication to others. Changing the way we sit may impact the way people view us. For example, if we sit more closed up it gives off a different impression than you think of yourself. A personal experience that I had when I needed to change my body language was when I had to talk to my group for a project and I was the only girl so I sat up and talked a bit more than I normally do and they acknowledged me and that really helped me that day to be presentable to others.

I disagree with the speaker that changing your body language can change your own thinking and mood, but I agree with them that it can impact the way that others perceive and think of you. As an example, the person in the TED talk was explaining how many people had a change in mood once they changed their body language - the speaker explains that it could make you more confident, and to try it when applying for some sort of job application. I don't think this is true, as I've tried many times and nothing changed; I still feel the same, but others might not. This leads into my agreement that it can change the way that people perceive you. For example, a large part of communication relies on body language. By changing this body language you can essentially make yourself come off as more confident, shy, etc. Therefore, I disagree that changing body language can impact your own mood, but agree that it can impact the ways others view you.

I agree with the speaker that changing your body language can change the way that you think, act, and how people views you, because of the dominant poses conveying a meaning to the low-power poses. For example, I always stay hunched everywhere I go and I felt kind of vulnerable, but in the video, if I have standard posture and smile, then I would be happy.

It makes other people feel that you have a lot of confident and your ready to take on risks when your body language/posture is a powerful poses. Its the exact opposite when you don't take on good posture or lack body language, people think your making yourself small. For example as I am sitting on my computer desk at home I usually have a low power pose like the hunching picture of the women on a chair. The TED talk talks about low power poses when people have a job interview and I agree that when I feel powerless/stressed, I have a pose that makes me feel small.

No, I don't think that "fake it 'til you make it" is a good idea. This is because it could be easy to lose your actual sense of self, leading you to have a sort of identity crisis. Others would perceive you differently than you perceive yourself, and that lingering idea of deception can make a person feel as if they aren't truly able to bring everything they have to the table. Watching the TED talk changed how I think and identify myself because I realized that I do some of these things subconsciously - this TED talk can help someone become more self-aware of what their body language can be and how it impacts both themselves and the people around them.
